Gary Sluhan has perfected the sounds of various artists from Gordon Lightfoot, Cat Stevens, Sam the Sham and the Pharohs (Little Red Riding Hood), and most notably Jimmy Buffett. He has even been asked more than once if he was Jimmy Buffett. This has happened in Las Vegas, Sanibel Island, St. Petersburg and St. Louis. That is just a part of it, once you hear him perform you can appreciate why people wonder if it is the original artist who did the song. That along with his style will have you reliving the era in which that song was originally recorded.
Gary Sluhan is available for corporate functions, private parties, local venues or whatever you desire. If you are yearning for Jimmy Buffett style music and a good time, you should attend one of his performances. His motto is "I take requests, I just don't play them", which is not the way he is. If you want to hear a song, and Gary knows it, he WILL gladly play it for you.

Guitar Raffle 2010
Once again we will be raffling off another guitar this year to benefit the Bob Costas Cancer Center at Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center located here in St.Louis in memory of my nephew Derek Sluhan who lost his battle with cancer back in 1999 at the young age of 17. A guitar has been raffled every year and this will mark our 11th year. This years guitar is an Ovation C44 acoustic electric with an Ovation Hard shell case. Tickets are being sold for $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00. Tickets can be purchased at all public shows this year. We will be drawing the winning ticket on October 9th at the Grafton Winery at 6:00pm The winner will be notified immediately after the drawing. You do not need to be present to win. All we need is a name and a good phone number with area code as the winner is not always from the St.Louis area. I will deliver this guitar to the winner either in person or by shipping it to you. The guitar in this photo is the actual guitar that will be raffled.

A 2010 Welcome
Well 2010 is upon us and I hope everyone had a Safe and Happy Holiday and that your new years resolutions have not been broken yet like mine. Ha! Ha! But true! As I previously mentioned at the end of last year, my son Steven will be joining me this year at certain events. Well, some of those events have been listed on my calendar. Please check out the dates and hopefully you will check us out this year. There will be more dates added, so keep checking the calendar to see when and where we will be.
Again,thanks for your support. Without you, I wouldn't be playing where I am. Also, the venues that I play also thank you for your support, and I want to thank everyone and the venues who have had me perform in the past and the future. You know who you are.
